New Issue Mails
The Volume 15 #1 issue of RodMaker mailed yesterday. This issue went out a tad early to facilitate subscribers getting their tickets for the RodMaker Reception on February 24th. Presorted 3rd class mail generally takes about 3 to 4 weeks to reach most everyone, therefore the first issue of each year always mails about a week early.
One other thing worth mentioning – the Volume 15 #2 issue of RodMaker will mark the magazine’s 15th anniversary. During these past 15 years the magazine has become the most successful and popular publication for custom rod builders around the world. Expect some big changes during this 15th anniversary year. Stay tuned.

………………
Best rod building magazine on the planet. See you in a few weeks for the Expo.
Congrats on 15-years. Owe you a drink @ reception
Cheers!
Another home run Tom, great issue! Wish I was traveling to NC.
The fact that the only other rod building publication has recently revamped their publication to make it look more like Rodmaker speaks volumes. Rodmaker continues to be the leader and sets the standard for what a custom rod building publication should be!
Tom
You do an excellent job with your website and your magazine.
Pat
Tom you may be the only person who can get more than 24 hours out of a day. The magazine, forum, blog, library program, tackleworks, reception and the big Expo would be work enough for a dozen men. How you not only do it all but do it all so well is beyond me. Just glad that you do. When do you find time to eat or sleep, LOL!
I forgot to mention the Expo, apparently it is also very well organized and presented.
Good luck with your show.
Pat
Nice article on the urethane storage.
He does not mention where one get those cans.
Is he just using an empty from some other Used/cleaned product or can one purchase such cans?
As always, there is something in the magazine that I find always informative and or intructive.
Thanks Tom.
Leaving Seattle early Friday for the Expo. It’s a journey from up here in Vancouver but I’m sure it will be worth it! I look forward to meeting many of the regular contributors of “Rodmaker”!!
Tom, Little did I know that our relationship would lead to an event such as I just attended. From that little basement shop to national acclaim – a very big step. I had to stop building rods, but the ones that are building them now are doing one hell of a job. I saw some of the most talented individuals over the weekend that I could ever imagine. Thank you for all your hard work.
